The villa is situated on a hill between two streets and two houses, and its implantation was dictated by the location of the old building. Transparency and natural light are affirmed as key elements in the project, allowing watching the river through the room over the tops of the maple trees. Transparency gives us also an illusion of continuity between the composition of the inner and outer context. Plasticity and sober, minimalist decor, however rich, is expressed in the materials, in the white and black contrast, framing objects and works of art. The wide exposure to the river contrasts with the way the house protects itself from the street that leads to it. Artificial lighting is designed for a smooth transition from day to night, emphasizing the relationship between the house and the outside environment In the house automation systems all circuits of lighting, blinds and heating were integrated, allowing a strong dynamic control of installations. All spaces have been equipped with an integrated sound system HI-FI, in addition to a powerful sound installation, a real internal cinema, capable of envying modern digital cinemas.
